Brady is 6 months old already! Time flies so quickly, but at least every day is so full of good things to remember. Our little boy is growing so quickly. He had has 6 month doctor visit last Friday and he is 18 lb 10 oz (75th percentile) and 28 inches long (90th percentile). He didn't think getting shots was nearly as much fun as he did at the 4 month visit. He actually smiled at Nurse Becky last time, but this time he cried and cried.
Brady can push himself onto his hands and knees and rock, rock, rock. He can pivot around, scoot, and roll to get anywhere, or anything, he wants. He is ALMOST crawling but hasn't quite put it all together yet. When he is on his hands and knees he will move one knee in, reach out with an arm and then fall on his tummy, or sometimes move one knee in and then the other, and then tip onto his forehead because he didn't move his hands. Too cute! He also pushes himself onto his hands and toes into a full plank, and will hold it for a few seconds!
Our little guy has 2 teeth. They are super cute. He loves carrots, single grain oatmeal, avacado, and whatever the grown-ups are eating. If I sit on the floor while I eat, he comes over to me and looks up at me with his mouth open like a little birdie and wide little puppy-dog eyes. That cute face has gotten him bits and pieces of lots of things he probably shouldn't have tried yet, like shortbread and raw onions. :-)
Here is a video of Baby Brading eating yummy carrots!
He doesn't like banana (he did the first time he tried it, but hasn't since), applesauce, or mashed potatoes. Here is a picture of him wearing his yucky applesauce.

First time sitting up in the cart

It's so exciting when they can finally sit up in a shopping cart! It was so liberating for me.
