32 Weeks

Here's the latest photo! I'm up 26 1/2 pounds as of my last doctor's appointment (last Tuesday). I am starting to get less and less comfortable but would be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying the pregnancy. I've been really lucky, and have found that a 3 mile walk every morning makes a night-and-day difference in how I feel the rest of the day and night. Plus I walk with my friend Kelsey almost every day and she is so great to talk to. I feel like I'm going to eat us out of house and home with how starving I get all the time! The weeks are just flying by now and I still can't seem to get a straight answer out of HR about how my company's maternity leave works, but I'm hoping it all works out when it comes time. I'm hoping to start my leave at 37 weeks but we'll have to see. I bought a pump, some fabric to sew a nursing cover and some burp cloths, a couple of packages of diapers and 3 outfits but we are still largely unprepared for the arrival of our little one. I will need some time to rest up and get things ready for the big day (whenever that will be...) so I REALLY do not want to work up until the due date!

With Ashlee my water broke before I went to work and still went into work for a couple hours! Didn't tell anyone though that my water had broke or anything! Ha=Ha.

I wish I could have left work early! I started labor on a Thursday- worked all that day and Friday, "helped" (watched) my brother move, got a pedicure, and went to the movies on Saturday, and FINALLY on Sunday at 2:23 am, Melody decided we had labored long enough!

Fortunately that was at exactly 38 weeks, but I had to work as long as possible so I could be home as long as possible after she was born.

You look great!

You look so cute with your baby bump! I can totally relate to the scare of the baby not moving. I was monitored the last 2 months or so of the pregnancy because I didn't feel Connor moving either. He turned out to be just fine. I hope you get to use the jetted tub in L&D. I was so excited about that too but, unfortunately for me, my labor was too fast and I didn't have time to use it. Then, once the baby was born, I was whisked out of the beautiful delivery room into a crowded recovery room. Bummer. I'm sure it will be better for you (and for me next time) since you're in a different hospital and your delivery will be different. I'm so happy for you guys and can't wait to hear about the birth of your son!
