Scott is such a hard worker. He takes the responsibility of supporting a family very seriously, and I am glad for that. That being said, it is hard not to see him during the week. We started talking the other day about his job being so far away because he has several coworkers that have dropped out, so it would be logical to assume some of the LSI employees in Utah County have dropped out too. And the only reason he went to Ogden in the first place was because Utah County was full. So yesterday he went to the office to ask about the possibility of transferring, and they moved him to Orem!!! I'M SO HAPPY! I get to see my husband every day, and I get to take care of him when he's not feeling well and he can help me take care of the house and the yard! And last night when he came home, I made a point of having dinner ready for him when he got home (not a luxury he enjoyed at his bachelor pad) and while we were getting ready to eat he got this cute smile and said "I feel like we're a normal couple again!"

I am so happy for you guys! It is so hard to be apart. I am glad that things worked out for the best.
I'm glad Scott came home to you. Garrett and I have spent 2 nights apart (he was on scout trips) but we've seen each other every single day we've been married. I couldn't imagine being apart for every week.
That is so great! I hate it when Rich is gone- especially when he was traveling so much while I was pregnant. I'm thrilled for you guys!!!
Whoa OGDEN??? That's too far for me to drive and I live in Salt Lake! I'm a huge fan of living close to work, and so glad you don't have to spend all that time and money just on getting to work.
Scott, you deserve props for being willing to do whatever it takes to provide for you family. I'm glad you are now enjoying a smaller commute :)
Love,
Alex
