38 Week Appointment
So I had my 38 week appointment last Friday. I am dilated to 1.5 cm and 50% effaced. That is up from 1 cm and "pretty thick" the previous week (I know - super techincal medical term. It reminds me of Emily being "dilated to a fingernail"). The doctor asked if I wanted him to strip my membranes but it sounded awful so I said no. But, I agreed that if I haven't had the baby by my next appointment--this Wednesday, 9/2--that I will let him. I wonder when my baby is coming!

1.5 is way better than a fingernail...don't you worry! I am so excited for you. I bet you are getting ready...I drive by your house all the time and keep waiting to see a sign welcoming baby. :)
