I woke up at 3:30 this morning with contractions every 7-8 minutes for 30 seconds and just a little uncomfortable in my low back, and couldn't get back to sleep until 6:30. When I woke up again the contractions were regular but painless. :-( Had my doctor's appointment at 9 (2 cm and 60-70% effaced) and got my membranes stripped. I have had moderately painful contractions every 5-6 minutes for 30-40 seconds ever since. They're not perfectly consistent either...once in awhile I will get a short one after 3 minutes, and then I will go for 8 minutes or so and get a super painful one that lasts for a minute. I'm just sitting around trying to distract myself, waiting until the pain gets more intense and consistent, and then we will go to the hospital! I don't want to wait TOO long to go to the hospital, but I figure I'm more comfortable here at home. Plus it's free and Scott is having a good time washing the cars and taking care of things around the house on this beautiful sunny day!

What does Nadine do between contractions? SHE BLOGS! Thanks for keeping us all up to date! We're all thinking of you constantly and praying that everything goes well.
